Trilobite Preparation & New Collection

On a recent trip to Southern Morocco we were fortunate enough to not only select a new Trilobite collection but also witness these 360 Million year old creatures being prepared. With equipment that would flatter most dentists and the patience that could match a Shaolin Monk these extraordinary craftsmen are amongst the finest fossil preparers in the world. Hours, days and sometimes weeks of preparation time can be spent on just one fist sized Trilobite if the piece spectacular enough.  Read more…


‘Bearry Christmas’

What better way can you symbolise christmas by having two Ice Age Romanian Cave Bears standing proudly in our festive window display??!

To find a complete Cave Bear skeleton itself is something of a rarity but to come by two at the same time is a first for our collection. These grizzly 8 foot beasts originate from the Carpathian Mountains in Romania and are believed to be 10,000 years Old. Here are some shots of our team setting up these remarkable creatures.

Private View

On the 5th of July 2011 we celebrated 25 years of business with the opening of our newly refurbished Pimlico Road Gallery. A private view evening shared with our loyal customers & friends was a perfect way to appreciate a staggering new collection that contains the largest and most impressive specimens to have ever ‘crawled’ into our Pimlico home.
