This huge fossil fish wall plaque is from the 18-inch Layer of the Green River Formation in Wyoming. Each fine layer of this rock represents a year of sediment deposition in the ancient river, with each fossil fish resting at a different level, creating an extra dimension of interest and detail. We rarely see pieces of this scale in such amazing condition with four different species so well preserved.
