Rare and unique giant palm frond from the ash layer in Green River. Considered rare in this geologic formation due to the low probability of preservation of the delicate organic material, these wonderful fossil plants evoke the subtropical climate of North America during the Eocene. Fossil plants from the ancient sediments of Fossil Lake are unusually well preserved and highly coveted as accents for interior design. This stunning find is currently viewable at our Pimlico Road, London gallery.
