The guys at Wallpaper* recently used one of our pieces in their ‘Peep Show’ feature. The feature was part of the April 2014 edition and includes our stunning Mica & Tourmaline cluster from Brazil. Keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks as it will also feature in our exciting new Collection.
We know our pieces take ‘antique’ to the extreme, but they can look especially stunning in a modern, minimalist setting. We took some of our favourite specimens on location to show you how.

On a recent trip to Southern Morocco we were fortunate enough to not only select a new Trilobite collection but also witness these 360 Million year old creatures being prepared. With equipment that would flatter most dentists and the patience that could match a Shaolin Monk these extraordinary craftsmen are amongst the finest fossil preparers in the world. It had long been an ambition of Dale’s to return to the Orthoceras marble quarries of Tazarine that first ignited his passion for natural art some 25 years ago. A five day road journey that can rival the most picturesque drives in the world enabled us to take in Mother Nature’s finest offerings.
This week Nicholas Oakwell previewed his new Autumn Winter collection at Claridges.
We were asked to help create the set for the catwalk show with a selection of our stunning crystals
In a bizarre, yet compelling juxtaposition a few of our pieces were used to complement How to Spend It’s recent feature on the world’s finest skeleton watches. Ichthyosaur Vertebrae, Dactyloceras Ammonite & beautifully shaped Copal were just a few specimens used to partner some of watchmaking’s most beautiful creations.

What better way can you symbolise christmas by having two Ice Age Romanian Cave Bears standing proudly in our festive window display??!
To find a complete Cave Bear skeleton itself is something of a rarity but to come by two at the same time is a first for our collection. These grizzly 8 foot beasts originate from the Carpathian Mountains in Romania and are believed to be 10,000 years Old. Here are some shots of our team setting up these remarkable creatures.

On the 5th of July 2011 we celebrated 25 years of business with the opening of our newly refurbished Pimlico Road Gallery. A private view evening shared with our loyal customers & friends was a perfect way to appreciate a staggering new collection that contains the largest and most impressive specimens to have ever ‘crawled’ into our Pimlico home.
During 3 weeks in May 2011 the Ammonite team worked endlessly to create a space that compliments our spectacular collection in the way it deserves. Here is an insight into the fun & games we have when moving these delicate 500kg monsters…
For anyone who didn’t catch it, the Dale Rogers warehouse was used extensively in Episode 1 of the new series of “New Tricks” this week, starring Alun Armstrong as Brian Lane and Dennis Waterman as Gerry Standing.
This episode (broadcast on BBC One, 10:35PM Mon, 4 July) was filmed on location in our warehouse and features some great shots of the pieces.
